Coalition Recognizes Exemplary Service

Suffolk County, NY--  On January 13, Options Deputy Program Director, Georgia Kuhen, was honored at a luncheon held by the Board of Directors and staff of the Nassau Suffolk Coalition for the Homeless for her 18 years of volunteer service to the organization and her tireless advocacy on behalf of Long Islanders in need.

Through the years Georgia has served as a board member, committee chairperson, and representative for the Coalition at  press conferences.  Georgia has also served on both the Suffolk and Nassau HUD Continuums which have through the years brought millions of housing dollars to Long Island.  Georgia is actively involved with the annual events including the Keys for the Homeless Conference each fall and the Have a Heart for the Homeless Vigil which will take place Thursday, February 11 at 6pm at SUNY Farmingdale.
